To arrive to the school from the neareast town (La Quiaca) the author used a small 4-wheel drive for over 8 hours to drive 80 miles, driving through the mountains up to 15,000 feet with no roads. The school hosts 300 kids in the middle of a valley isloted from the world. There's no town, no power supply, no doctors, no post office and no communicatuions at all. One hour per day the radio from Salta, 300 miles away, can be listen. The kids spent an average of 4 hours to arrive to the school every day, walking and climbing from their houses secluded in the hillsides. The kids attending that school are invisible to the world.
